Swimming on Saturday morning for both girls. Holly loves dunking Daddy! On Sunday there was a birthday party for Holly's friend's (it is really mommy's friends' little guy, but Holly doesn't mind sharing). Auntie Erika was part of the festivities and was showing Holly how to make a gotee out of cupcake frosting! It is all about the making of those memories!
In between all the fun, Scott finished painting the house (pictures will be posted soon, pending me painting the trim around the front door), we installed a new window in the kitchen and we took a journey up to Ojai to get a truck load of mulch and filled in the flower beds and landscaped areas with it.
On Sunday morning Aunt Sherry came over for sweet rolls,made from scratch,(recipe posted) and coffee to check out the paint job on the house and play with the kiddos.
We finished the weekend with a a 2 hour adventure walk to a cool new park near our house where we bumped into friends that I have not seen in over 3 years! We all are tired but relaxed and ready for a new week to come!
