Fillmore Train and Fish Hatchery Field Trip!

We finally got to make it to a field trip with Holly's class!  So far this year, one of the girls have been sick.  This trip was so worth the wait! Daddy and Heidi came along, so it was a family affair!  We met her teacher, Ms. Kandy and her class in Fillmore Train Depot and climbed aboard a train that was built in the 1920's and was used in several films.  Our destination was the Fish Hatchery that was stocked and loaded with thousands of rainbow trout.  The men were cleaning the holding tanks while we were there and we had a chance to feed the hungry fish.

Heidi and Daddy having some snuggle time on the train!

Daddy and his girls!  Note the shiner Heidi has on her eye.  Yes, that happened on Daddy's watch.  She needed a good rib eye to fix that up!
Check out the beautiful birds! They were just sitting at the smorgasbord at the let-out of the hatchery!

Holly having a good time amusing herself with things she found in my purse while waiting for the train to depart the depot!

Pajama Party Fun!

Holly and Heidi had their first pajama party with Gabby and Auntie Andy!  This will be the first of many pajama parties.  This one went something like this:  Playtime, dinner time, bath time, TV time and then to their own bed time!

Holly and Heidi have new beds!   Heidi became a big girl much sooner than we expected.  She has decided that she wants to take on the persona of Sir Edmund Hillary.  So before she did a Cirque du Soleil out of her crib we needed to act fast.  We decided that Holly could get a loft bed that we found at IKEA that stands 4 feet tall, so a good height, but not to high.  We moved Holly's bed into Heidi's room.  Both girls love their new beds and Heidi took to her new independence like a duck to water.  Now if we can get her to sleep fully in her bed!

 Getting tucked in!
