Out with the Penitentiary Gray and In with Warm Woodlands!

The house just got a new skin and we did it ourselves! It all started with me getting some bids and after hearing the total costs, we decided that we could do it on our own, pocket the money we saved and take a trip to Orlando to visit Mickey's Kingdom, or go to Hawaii or just sock it away for supplemental retirement, since currently our money that we are giving to the government on loan more than likely will not be there when we need it... I digress...
It took both Scott and I (Al came over a couple of times to help out in the effort too, which we fed him well) two and half weeks to get the project done which included, power washing, scraping, caulking and painting. It is nice to head into the summer with that under our belts... next project both yards!
